(Minkin DTA) Curiosity killed the cat ...

Honeysuckle, or Honey as she doesn’t mind being called, is also trusting and kind. Her naivety is something that definitely gets her into a spot of trouble. ‘Oh yes giant scary bird that likes to eat small creatures, of course I’ll come for a ride with you in your lovely long talons! Why are your feathers so shiny? Why are your feet so leathery? Why are – wait … where are you going?!’

Because of these personality traits, Honey possesses a great sense of adventure. She wants to explore the entire world of Xenith and devour all information that she can get her hooves on! Perhaps one day she may even make a friend with a vestibule and travel all the way to the Emerald Isles where she would wreak havoc on the community by constantly asking ‘why on earth do these islands float?’

Brief History
Honeysuckle grew up in the wooded meadows, which she enjoyed tremendously. She loved the hazy misty colours surrounding the place and the lovely expanse of flowery meadows. However, as she got older the time came where she had asked possibly every question she could ever ask about the area, and decided to move on to a new area, her sense of adventure never fading. She enjoys hanging around the tributaries and is very intrigued by the shining and shimmering pools of water. She very much enjoys finding treasures there.

My entry for the minkin DTA! I absolutely love the design of 'Punk Rock' so had to enter for them. I drew her hanging out in her favourite spot in the tributaries. I hope her curious nature comes across in this piece in the way I have drawn her curiously looking at the water. I really enjoyed drawing her and her personality was such a fun thing to come up with!
